تم اختبار الفعالية التثبيطية لمستخلص المسواك في نمو البكتريا (Streptococcus mutans و Staphylococcus aureus) حيث أظهر المستخلص تأثيرا واضحا في نمو البكتريا (Strep .
mutans) حيث ثبطها عند التركيز 40% في حين لم يؤثر في البكتريا (Staph.
aureus).
و أكدت النتائج إن المسواك لا يؤثر على الحيوانات المعاملة به كما وفر حماية للحيوانات من خلال المحافظة على معايير الدم الفسلجية.
Abstract EN
The study was evaluated the inhibition activity for al-maswak extraction on Strept.mutans and Staph.aureus growth.
The results show that al-maswak extraction have a strong effect on the growth of Strept .mutans.
Since the extraction inhabit the growth of bacteria at concentration of 40 %.
Incontrast, the extraction have not effect on Staph.aureus.
The result indicate that, the extraction dose not induced any harmful effect on the animal.
The extraction provide the animal with protection, as it maintain physiological blood parameters within normal value.
