In critical heritage and Arabic rhetoric, poetics has been used in the sense of poetry science which is probably the reason that prevented so far the acceptance of its terminological sense in Arab culture.

From Aristotle through the circle of Prague to the new poetics, it is given to describe all that has a relationship with the laws of written discourse surpassing the science of poetry to describe literary and non-literary poetics.
