Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the views of Faculty members in the colleges of Education at Hadhramout University about the establishment of the Department of Adult Education at Hadhramout University.

The researchers used the questionnaire to get feedback from faculty members about the creation of the Department of Adult Education.

And after the development of the tool and make sure of its sincerity by the sincerity of the arbitrators, and the persistence of retail midterm, the percentage of stability was (86 %) at a level of significance (0.

05) on a community component (36) members of the faculty colleges of Hadhramout University.

And to answer the questions of the study the researchers used the arithmetic average of the percentages, and the T-test and ANOVA one-way.

The results showed the following : That the percentage of (97 %) of the members of the community at the colleges of Education of Hadhramout University agreed on the establishment of the Department of Adult Education, because it will contribute to the development of the local community.

Whereas the second reason for the approval on the establishment of the Department of Adult, which reads (it will lead to the development of research in this area) the members of the community agreed on it by (92 %).

And because it will help in the management of Adult Education programs and continuing education in a scientific way, the members of the community approved it by (89 %).

The lowest percentage has been obtained from the study population, is the reason which read (it will lead to the training of students of the Faculty of Education to become teachers for Adults) by (20 %).

There were no statistically significant differences found for the effect of variables : Grade, and the number of years of experience in the approval of the establishment of the Department of Adult Education, in the faculties of Education at Hadhramout University.
