In spite of the absence of plot and rejection of the temporal dimensions besides the decline of characters and the significant presence of things, the feeling of jealousy apparently appear in the narrative of this novel.

It talks about three be loving characters : one of which is a woman called A… and a man called Frank who might have been her beloved.

Being so, he visits her continually and leaves his wife Christine and his son at home.

The third character narrates the events of the novel as he justifies from an objective view his deprivation and suppressed feeling since he had been present in all scenes of the novel, he at the same time is A’s husband who had done well in his narration effectively with reference to all movements, mimes and exchanged dialogues between his wife and Frank.

All the events of the novel take place in a deluxe house surrounded by banana trees in a tropical area.

The events narrated are novelist-made they show his personal viewpoint.

Accordingly, this is clear evidence of his melancholy and distrust in his wife.

His jealousy of his wife has varied from objectivity to subjectivity.

This has been clear due to his looks at characters and things surrounding him.

Therefore, being over whelmed by jealousy, he has been transformed from a real objective man to someone who carries doubt towards his wife.
