أسباب تعاطي عقار الترامادول (TRMADOL)‎ لدى الشباب الفلسطيني في محافظات غزة : دراسة ميدانية

Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the psychological, social, economic, educational, physical, religious and political causes of Tramadol drug addiction among young Palestinians in Gaza Governorate during May and June in 2013.In addition, the study aims to determine the differences in the causes of Tramadol drug abuse among young people due to several demographic variables such as (age, marital status, employment, housing, income, educational level, and the duration of drug taking).

The researchers used the descriptive- analytical approach as it is a systematic and appropriate approach.

Moreover, a questionnaire was designed to determine the cause of taking that drug.

The target group of this study is 68 selected young Palestinian addictors of Tramadol drug in the Gaza Strip.

Based on the findings of the study, the most important reasons behind taking the Tramadol drug are mainly psychological, physical, religious, economic, social, political, and educational.

It is worth mentioning that there were no statistically significant differences in the causes of Tramadol abuse due to the variable of demographic factors (age, marital status, income, times of taking that drug, and educational level), but there were statistically significant differences in the causes of Tramadol abuse due to the variable of place of dwelling and the reasons for taking Tramadol.

At the end, the study lists a set of important recommendations that may help in decreasing this dangerous phenomenon through raising the public health and religious awareness through mass media.In addition, the researchers strongly recommend holding workshops and doing scientific researches about the risks of Tramadol.
