Abstract EN

This study deals with the trends citizens and police staff towards points extend public security and community committees using t-test and f-test, And study aimed to find out trends Sudanese in the National Capital Khartoum towards points extend public security and community committees, and then see if there are significant differences in Sudanese trends (citizens and police staff) about points extend public security and community committees for a number of variables (such as place of residence, place of work, qualification and age)?, and that application on t-test and analysis of variance.

Data was collected through primary sources and then design a questionnaire and distributed to a sample of citizens and police staff, where data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and using the analytical method through the use of selected one sample t –test and one way ANOVA.

The most important results of the study: 1.

Trends of Sudanese citizens and police staff in the national capital Khartoum towards points extend security and community committees is a positive.

There are significant differences in the trends of citizens in the national capital Khartoum towards points extend public security and community committees due to all the variables (place of residence, place of work, qualification) except variable age.

There are significant differences in the trends of the police staff in the national capital Khartoum towards points extend public security and community committees due to all the variables (age, place of work, qualification) except variable place of residence.

The most important recommendations: 1.

The dissemination the idea of community policing at all quarters and activating the role of community committees in a better way.

2.

Getting the benefits of the police officers in each quarter to oversee the quarter’s locations compel them to write weekly reports on the performance of individuals.
