Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding out the general characteristic of the Religious extremism and the Student violence among college students as well as finding out the correlation between them and finding the differences in the Religious extremism due to gender variable.The study sample consisted of (200) college students; (100) males and (100) females students.

They aged between (18-30 years old) and had been selected randomly from the study population.The researcher has utilized the religious extremism measure and the student violence measure.

The following statistical methods were administered:(T) test for a single community, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and T-test for independent two samples.

The study has found out that the general characteristic of religious extremism among college students is high ,while it is low for the student violence.

Also, there is an inverse correlation between religious extremism and student violence among college students and there are statistically significant differences in religious extremism among college students in favor of females students.
