Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight the definitions and theories of intelligence & Mind in the Islamic heritage from the view of Quran and Sunah and the lettered Muslims scientists.

The Content Analytical methods were used for the historical concepts which based on the lettered Islamic thinkers opinions.

The study based on the findings and reports of the lettered Muslims and thinkers in the concept of intelligence as tool for this study.

The study has been discussed from four basic points of views and the following important results were obtained: the term of mind or intelligencer are similar and typical for wordy carrying the same meaning which shows high effective mental ability .The definition of mind shows a non -material character it may be intellectual spiritual material or materialism which runs it with intelligence for action in different situations in life .The mind according to the Islamic heritage thinkers is natural ability based on both inheritance and environmental factors that affect human body physiology, mentality, psychologically and behavioral actions.The opinions and theories of Muslims thinkers on human mind are different but they all agree with its definition, function and development.
