This article examines the image of the Other in Arab women's literature.

Since the emergence of women's literature in the Arab world, a new image of the Other and oneself came out, a fact that has given rise to a feminist vision different from the prominent and long-dating masculine one.This article raises the question of the image of oneself and the other in the middle of crucial other subjects such as sexe, acculturation, future and identity.

Cet article vise à examiner l'image de l'autre dans le roman féminin arabe.

Il s'agit d'examiner cette image d'un point de vue purement féminin, pour l’évaluation de la relation du féminin avec soi et avec l'autre.

Nous tentons d'examiner les contributions des écrivaines arabes à forger une nouvelle image de soi et de l'autre, autrement que dans l'écriture des hommes, dans les interrogations sur la civilisation, le sexe, l'acculturation, l'identité et l'avenir.
