This paper aims to study the presence the woman in Al-Hamasah selections – selctions of Arabic poetry – which is received acceptance among critics .

This research falls into three parts : The first one present the woman poetry in Al-Hamasah Divan .

the second part deals with the woman as a symool that denotes to different subjects that that poets have dealt with .

The last part sheds light on the woman as a poetic object that the Al-Hamasah poets have tackled their creative ex perience , consequently .

it occupies a space in Al- Hamasah divan .
