درست تشريحيا الأنواع : Mentha longifolia و Micromeria myrtifolia و M.
flacca و Thymbra spicata و T.
sintensii، و من الجنس Thymus الأنواع (T.
bovei و T.
carmanicus و T.
kotschymanus و T.
pubescens و T.
syriacus و T.
thymbroides) و من الجنس Ziziphora الأنواع (Z.
capitata و Z.
clinopodioides و Z.
tenuior) النامية في العراق.
و كان للمقاطع العمودية لنصل الورقة-لا سيما النسيج المتوسط، و أشكال الحزمة الوعائية الوسطية-أهمية تصنيفية، أمكن من خلالها تقسيم أنواع كل جنس على مجاميع.
حيث تبين أن الورقة في النوع Mentha longifolia و أنواع الجنسين Micromeria و Ziziphora ثنائية الأوجه Bifacial، لكنها أحادية الأوجه في أنواع الجنسين Thymbra و Thymus.
كان النسيج الوعائي للعرق الوسطي في الورقة متغايرا مظهريا يتغاير مظهريا بتغاير أنواع الجنس الواحد- و كذا الأجناس-.
فقد بدى اهليليجي الشكل Elleptic، و نصف دائري Semicircular، و بيضويا-دائري Ovate-Circular.
و كلويا Reniflrm، و منحنيا Curved.
ظهرت الحزمة الوعائية محاطة بصف أو أكثر من الخلايا البرنكيمية الكبيرة الحجم الكروية إلى المتطاولة الشكل، التي شكلت غلاف الحزمة Bundle Sheath و بدت بشكل كولنكيما فراغية Lacunar collenchymas فوق و تحت الحزمة الوعائية في معظم أنواع الأجناس، بيد أن الحزمة أحيطت بالألياف في نوعي الجنس –Micromeria لا سيما تحت الحزمة- و في الجنس Ziziphora لا سيما في النوع Z.

Abstract EN
Anatomical study has been d©ne for the species Mentha longifolia, Micromeria myrtifolia, M.flacca, Thymbra spicata, T.
sintensii, Thymus spp.
and Ziziphora grown in Iraq Vertical section of leaf blade were of taxonomic importance, especially mesophyll and vascular bundle shapes which were used in grouping species of the above genera.
Bifacial leaf found in Mentha longifolia, Micromeria spp.
and Ziziphora sp., wherease unifacial was in Thymbra and Thymus species.
Shape of cross section of leaf midrib was variable in variable species and genera, therefore elleptic , semicirular, ovate-circular, remiform and curved shapes were determined.
The vascular bundle was enclosed by one or more rows ohi^renhyma cells.
These cells were spherical to oblong in shape as a bundle sheath .
This was as a lacunar collenehyma above and below the vascular bundle in most species of the genera.
Anyhow the vascular bundles of the species of Micromeria, Ziziphora studied were enclosed by fibers, especially in Z.tenuior.
