Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء جودة البيئة الجامعية و جودة الأداء التدريسي للأستاذ الجامعي في ضوء متطلبات ضمان الجودة من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة الشرق الأوسط في الأردن، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة سحبت عينة عشوائية من طلبة كليات الجامعة، و تم تطوير استبانة للبيئة الجامعية و أخرى للأداء التدريسي للأستاذ الجامعي و تم التأكد من صدقهما و ثباتهما.

أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود مستوى مرتفع لمعايير جودة البيئة الجامعية على الدرجة الكلية و على جميع مجالات معايير البيئة الجامعية، و إلى مستوى جودة مرتفع لمجالات الأداء التدريسي للأستاذ الجامعي ككل، و لكل مجال على حدة.

و أوصى الباحث باعتماد قائمة معايير ضمان جودة البيئة الجامعية و قائمة معايير جودة الأداء التدريسي و مبادئ الحاكمية في العملية التعليمية التعلمية.

English Abstract

This study aimed at inquiring the quality of the university environment, and faculty members’ teaching performance, in light of the requirements of quality assurance, from the students’ points of view at the Middle East University in Jordan.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a random sample was drawn from the students in the colleges of the university.

Two questionnaires were developed to collect data.

The first was to measure the quality of the university environment, while the second was to measure the teaching performance of the faculty members.

Validity and reliability of the two tools were assured.

The findings of the study indicated that, there was a high level of criteria regarding the quality of university environment on the total score and all areas.

The level of faculty members teaching performance was high on the total score and all areas.

The researcher recommended the following : Adopting the criteria list of quality assurance of university environment.

Adopting the criteria list of teaching performance quality.
