Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between teachers awareness for effectiveness of the Diploma program of Information and Communication Technology in the development of professional competence among school teachers from their point of view .

The study sample consisted of (272) teachers from the overall study population which consists of (322 ) teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the study and collect the necessary data , the researchers developed a questionnaire composed of (6) areas and (88) paragraphs.

The study found that the effectiveness of the Diploma program in Information and Communication Technology's school teachers from the perspective of teachers themselves was medium.

The level of availability of professional competence among school teachers from the perspective of teachers themselves in general was high .

Results have also shown a statistically significant positive correlation between the level of effectiveness of the Diploma program of Information and Communication Technology and the availability of professional competence among school teachers, therefore the researchers recommend increasing Professional Competence teaching for teachers which is related to using Information and Communication Technology.
