Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of public relations department at Ministry of Interior declining violence in the Gaza Strip.

This has been done through descriptive analytical study.

A sample of(30)members were chosen.

These members are actually employed in Public Relations department in the Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip.

The study concluded many findings: (1)Absence of professional staff specialized in Police Public Relations.(2) The department plays an important role in resisting violence.(3)The first reason behind violence phenomenon is the deterioration of the political and economic circumstances.

(4)One of the most obstacles that hinder the work of public relations during the conditional approach to eliminate the phenomenon of violence, lack of specialized staff and senior management to understand the nature of the work of public relations.
