English Abstract

In this research, an analytical study for the behavior of MUF & FOT parameters has been preformed between transmitter and receiver stations over Middle East region.

The analytical study have been conducted by adopting the Ionospheric Communications Enhanced Profile Analysis and Circuit model (ICEPAC) which is consider as one of the recommended international communications models for HF radio waves propagation. The analytical study of generated MUF & FOT parameters datasets has been achieved for seasonal and annual times for the years (2009-2011) within the solar cycle 24. The capital Baghdad has been selected to represent the transmitter station and many different communication points which are located on different directions around the transmitter station have been represented as receiver stations. The analytical investigation for the behavior of MUF and FOT parameters has been conducted for many connection links over the local (Iraqi territory) and regional (Middle East) zones.
