Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on quality standards and control in electronic education.

The study started by reviewing the concept of quality in electronic education and the definition of quality and total quality in higher education.

The study addressed electronic education, its definition, and its philosophy, and the basic foundation on which it rests.

The study followed the descriptive approach and found that the quality and control standards of the electronic education were manifested in design of an integrated system, academic standards and quality standards at the stage of designing of programs, its adoption , review, the quality standards in administering the electronic education programs, promoting and supporting of students, and finally students evaluation.The study recommended that the higher education institutions (universities) to administer electronic education practices in line with quality standards of education in general and electronic education in particular, and to make every effort to set standards that enable them to observe electronic education
