Ibn Berry (d.

582 a.h.) wasn t concerned with the poetic evidences of Al_Sahah except in his book (Alarming & Clarifying What Happened in Al_Sahah), known as (Footnotes of Ibn Berry).

This book depends on correcting, explaining, and clarifying of various aspects which have came in Al_Sahah for Al_Jawhari (d.

400 a.h.).

This book has showed his concern of poetic evidences such as his correcting of their narrative , then the correcting has came in the aspects of grammar, morphology, arrangement, and distortion, as well as making corrects on evidence explaining, attributing it to his narrator, its situation, and arrangement, and so on.

We have selected for this research Ibn Berry's correction of the poetic evidences in the aspect of arrangement and distortion, as a model, showing the two mentioned concepts for several scientists & researches, traditionally & nowadays.

So we have extracted a definition for each one depending on identifying the correction of arrangement & distortion, then analyzing some models of them.

In addition, we have attempted to matching between the novels of Al_Jawhari & Ibn Berry through our documentation of narrating the poetic evidences.
