Abstract EN

Handball game is one of the items of the syllabus in colleges and departments of physical education.

In addition it is one of the main components of the tests for in students illegibility.

It is a game that has its own Kinetic skills, though there are many skill measurement standards in handball game and all of them are based on certain skill and age standards and levels but there are no skill measurement standards by which students are accepted and give a clear vision through which students with different skill levels are evaluated and all other aspects of important skills and variables concerning handball.

The study aims at: - Putting forth certain standard degrees and levels for skill tests in handball game concerning the students who apply for the College of Basic Education/ Dept.

of Physical Education in Mosul University.

The researcher used the descriptive approach by means of connected studies.

The community of the study consisted of the students who applied for the Dept.

of Physical Education in The College of Basic Education in Mosul University for the academic year 2011-2012 (250 students).

150 students were excluded, who represented the pilot empirical sample of the study and the students who did not attend or complete the tests.

As for the sample of the study; the students were chosen intentionally, consisting of (100) students representing 60% of the total community of the study.

The statistical means that were used in the study are: the mean, the standard deviation, mode, percentage, Pearson's simple correlation coefficient, factor analysis by means of basic components, T-rule for differences and the standard degree.

The researcher reached at the following findings:1- we found grades and standard levels of basic skills tests for handball.

2- that most of the research sample members were in the average standard level.
