Abstract EN

The research aims at identifying the levels of reflective thinking, emotional intelligence, and will power for the students of preliminary stage, the relationship among reflective thinking, emotional intelligence, and will power, the relationship between reflective thinking and emotional intelligence, in one hand and reflective thinking and will power in the other hand according to the two variables, of sex (male and female), and the branch (scientific and literary).

A ratio ranking random sample has been selected, mounted (491) students from preliminary fifth class.

The researcher have made building a test for reflective thinking, as well as they depended on the scale of (Al Khazraji 2007) and will power scale of (Al Ma'adhedi 2004).

The external validity has been achieved for the researcher instruments by submitting it to experts and arbiters.

Moreover, the distinctive power for the instruments has been counted and the certainty by two ways manners:-the retest, and Koder Ritchardson 20 for testing reflective thinking and will power , As for the emotional intelligence scale the certainty of which has been done by two methods, retest and alpha kronbakh.

The Data has been treated statistically by using the statistical package for social sciences(spss), and using some of the other statistical methods as multi joint factor and self test.

The results have showed the following:- 1.

The students of preliminary stage have good level of reflective thinking.

The students of preliminary stage have high level of emotional intelligence.

3.

The students of preliminary stage have high level of will power.

4.

There is a positive statistical relationship, among reflective thinking, emotional intelligence and will power.

5.

There is no statistical difference statistically relationship between reflective thinking and emotional intelligence according to the two variables: of sex (male & female), and the branch of (scientific & literary).

6.

There is no statistical relationship between reflective thinking and will power according to the two variables.

On the basis of the results, the researchers provided some conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
