و يخرج البحث بضرورة إصدار تشريعات جديدة تواكب التطور الهائل في مجال المكتبات و المعلومات فضلا عن تحديث التشريعات القائمة.
Abstract EN
The present situation of library legislation in Iraq is introduced, with both positive and negative aspects stated through documentary approach.
It concludes that there is a need for issuing new legislations that can cope with the tremendous development ill the fields of libraries and information, as well as updating existing ones.
