Abstract EN

This paper aims primerily at stressing the role of the manufacturing industries sector in the Kuwaiti economy.

It also tackles several problems dealing with the localization of these industries and their spatial distribution in the different districts of Ku-wait.

The paper also tries to investigate the degree of functional correlation between the different types of industries of these sectors and in addition it ex-pounds the geographical controls of their localization.

Methodologically this paper acquired the statist؛-cal and analytical approach as will as the utilization of cartographic representation techniques which have culminated in attaining important indicators such as the location quotient, coefficient of the geographic association, the Function linked the index of concen-tration; industrial divercification...

A through Field survey and quistionaring has been carried out with the aid of junior researchers and the findings have been statistically processed.That is to.

In our opinion, it is more accurate to consider this last group of sounds midway between all consonants as a whole and the vowels, and not between the plo-sive - stops and fricatives- We say, so on the account, that these sounds do share the vowels an important feature.

This Feature is their sonorious aspect which is caused by the rela-tive freedom of the air when producing them.

For this reason these sounds, combined with vowels, are called the "sonorants" and we, in this context, call them "The vowel - like consonants".
