Abstract EN

This paper starts by diseussing the general Charaeteristies of the Sudanese foreign trade as well as the faetors affeeting it.

Geographie faetors like the location, the surface area, the geological structure as well as the weather related factors are discussed to show their impact on the productivity of the Sudanese economy as well as the foreign trade.

Human aspects are equally stressed in this paper .

Issues like population growth, labor forces and migration are investigated in relation to the exporting capacities of the Sudanese economy .

supporting his arguments by several figurative tables and illustrations , He examines thoroughly the Sudanese exports and imports as well as its trade agreements with Libya , Jordan, Turkey and Egypt.

In the post- script, the author highlighted the Sudanese economic crisis arguing that it stems from the unemployment of its resources.

The author also discussed the impact of GATT on the prices of the Sudanese agricultural exports which are expected to drop dramatically.

Finally, the author views the Egyptian - Sudanese cooperation as the major hope for boosting the Sudanese economy .
