Abstract EN

We can say that the Arabic novel has formed the image of Western woman in the frame work of the novelist vision from various angels; political, economical, cultural and Ideological concentrating on the relationship between the orient man and the wetern woman, as the customary relationship (between East and West) in the Arabic Novel which is sexually oriented.

Accordingly the image of Eastern man as he finds himself in the west he searches with a great desire for the western woman.

This traditional vision for the relationship between them tempted the researcher to study it.

Jordanian novels as a model during the seventeenth and afterwards of the 20th century, concentrating on the most novels that embody such a relationship as represented in the novel "A night in the train" by Eisa Al Nauouri
