The Dasymetric map is atypical distributional map that presents the geographical phenomena according to their real limits distribution within the geographical surface regardless of the other border; especially the administrative boundaries.

This kind of maps has been given little attention due to the ragne of outlining limits distribution of the phenomenon which is caused by the personal calculation of determining the graphic categories in terms of area within the map.The research aims at designating an effective Dasymetric.

Dasymetric map that presents the limits of populationdensitiesof Nineveh district 2010.

It explains the method of designating it first and the reduction of the mistake resulted from the designation according to the researcher's personal calculation through the use of one of the geographical information system technologies, ARG GIS ver 9.2 and the comparison the different distributions of the data of Nineveh population according to the ontskirts i.e.

the towns and villages of Nineveh.
