Abstract EN

We seek in this study to examine one of the problematic issues that was not fully studied.

This issue is related to one of the structural behaviors that was difficult to understand and is odd, and that is to eliminate or to mention the unrestricted object in Arabic.

Arabic permits sometimes to eliminate the descriptive unrestricted object and to replace it with its described adjective while in other times, we find in Arabic that this is prohibited.

From this we will examine such issue attempting to provide a rule governing the behavior of the unrestricted object adjective to better understand when this adjective can\ can't replace the descriptive unrestricted object.

To be more specific, the main purpose of the current study is to answer the following question, why can we say: ( انهار البناء كلياً ), by omitting the unrestricted object from: ( اِنْها  ر الْبِنا  ء اْنهِيارًا ُ كلِّياً ), but we can not do the same thing in: ( َتطور تطورا ملحوظا ), so we can not omit the unrestricted object and say: (تطور ملحوظا)!
