Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on a Jahili poet, AlAsh’a ( a poet before the era of Islam) who had great interest in colors and their semantics in addition to their artistic vision and text aesthetic.

It tackles the implications, semantics, and lexical Properties In addition, of basic colors in AlAsha’a poetry implementing the analytical approach.

Also, it discusses the semantic meaning of the basic colors such as white and black elaborating more on lexical vocabulary which the poet implemented in his poetry.

At last, it addresses the function of the basic primary colors and the psyctological vision of the poet.
