Abstract EN

This study discusses two problems which faced The Ottoman Empire in dealing with the Bedouins in Beer assab a in southern Palestine during the reign of Sultan Abd A1 Hameed II.

The first problem was the nature of the Bedouin's life which depends on grazing and migration and carrying goods, besides constant attempts by strong Bedouin tribes to gain control over small ones.

This struggle had a very negative political effect on the Ottoman Empire; due to its bordering British Egypt.

The other Problem was the British ambitions in the Ottoman Empire, and Beerassb a which was an easy target for the British in Egypt.

This study also discusses how did the Ottomans dealt with the Bedouins of Ghaza and Beer Assab a which lined on the borders with Egypt, and the procedures which the Ottomans took to face the British ambitions in the region.

The study depends on Ottoman documents to clarify the Policy of the Ottoman Empire in its last years.
