Abstract EN

This study deals with conditions in Yanbu0 during the thirty years of Muhammad Ali Pasha’s rule and wars in Hijaz, and Najd through three topics: The strategically importance that the viceroy of Egypt had given to Yanbu0 for waging his wars against the first Saudi state in Hijaz and Najd and the following twenty thee years.

Presenting another reading on the stages by which Muhammad Ali,s forces took over the port and the vally (inland) ofYanbu0 by the end ofthe year 1226H/1811G.

The changes in administration, military, economic, and construction achieved by Muhammad Ali,s Government in Yunbu0 during the viceroy,s rule there, which entitled Yabnu^ for the status of Muhafadha ( province ) like Mecca, Madina, Jedda and Gunfutha.
