Abstract EN

The importance of this research is that it deals with the subject of international cooperation for counterterrorism, which is still one of the most importantissues of concern to the international community, as many countries, governments and people have suffered from its effects; however, terrorism crime is a social phenomenon that has no relation with religion or race, at the end it’s a humanitarian crime that was and still one of the biggest challenges that facing the international community.

Most countries have suffered from it, western like USA, England or France, or Arabian countries like Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq and other Arab countries.

However the international cooperation has a great effect in dealing with criminals and terrorism crimes either nationally by developing the criminal legislation or internationally by the international and regional organization, hence all countries must activate this cooperation to achieve the integration among these legislation from one side and between them and the international rules from another side; however, its important to achieve balance between counter terrorism procedures and the protection of human rights to maintain the integrity of this cooperation, which requires countries to balance between its authority from retribution of those who violated the sanctity of its regulation and not taking counter terrorism a reason to violate these rights, and to work with international community together to counterterrorism or through international organization for counterterrorism.
