Abstract EN

This study aims at studying earthquakes that took place in Yemen during the tenth and eleventh centuries H.(i6th-i7th ) G.

It depends on original Yemeni and islamic sources in order to reach more accurate results.

The study also relates earthquakes causes from the pointview of historians, and religious scholars who transmitted these earthquakes to us .

Move over, the study aims at identifying the effects of these earthquakes on the inhabitants and their properties, and the steps taken by governments and society to help effected people.

The study also follows earthquakes temporal and special framework Inorder to recognize years of repletion , places of occurrences and periods of these earthquakes.

This study came out with a number of results that differ with earlier research on the subject.
