Abstract EN

Unification of Saudi Arabia by king Abdulaziz alsaud was considered one of the most affecting event in arabia in the beginning of the 20the century which had remote influence inside and out side Arabia.

Shaykh khazac ل was connected strategically with some political entities in the region, so he was eager to be on harmony with them , and his emirate to be part of the arabian tissue of the region.

But he was forced to be entangled in the political tention ofthe formation stage in arabia.

Since King Abdulaziz was a basic party in the political events in the region؛ Khazcal found himself linked to the political movements that were led by the King, and so the regional and international relations of ^hmarah were employed, thus affecting the military conflict between King Abdulaziz and the Emirate of Al Rashid in Hai’l.

This study reached several results؛ the most prominent one is the desire of Sheikh Khazcal to melt himself in the Arab political conglomerate to defend his emirate against the ?ersian attacks.

Khazcal always took position in favor of the regional policy of Kuwait, which was a translation ofthe british policy in the region.

The vagieness of Khazcal’s, policy put him sometimes in harmony with the policy of King Abdulaziz, and other times was he found in the other camp.

Therefore, this study is an analytical, in which the researcher is keen to derive the dimensions of events, including political and military ones to simulate the historical truth.
