هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على التغيرات في البروتين الكلي في عينات لعاب و أمصال المرضى المصابين بسرطان الخلايا الحرشفية في الفم (18 = n) و ذلك بالمقارنة مع الأصحاء المتطابقة20 = n) ) و تم متابعة تغيرات هذه البروتينات باستخدام تقنية الترحيل الكهربائي الهلامي (PAGE) لعينات اللعاب و الأمصال المرضى مقارنة مع مجموعة الأصحاء و في الوقت نفسه تم متابعة الألبيومين و الجلوبيولين و نسبة الألبيومين إلى الجلوبيولين على عينات الأمصال فقط.
و أظهرت النتائج انخفاض غير معنوي (p < 4.45) في تركيز البروتين الكلي في عينات أمصال المرضى المصابين بسرطان الخلايا الحرشفية في الفم في حين كان هناك انخفاض معنوي ((0.05< P في الالبومين في عينات أمصال المرضى و زيادة معنوية(4.45 < P) في عينات أمصال المرضى لتركيز الجلوبيولين.
كما وجد انخفاض معنوي (0.05< P) في نسبة الألبومين إلى الجلوبيولين في مجموعة المرضى مقارنة مع ذلك مع مجموعة الاصحاء.
تضمنت الدراسة مجموعتين من المشاركين مريضا بسرطان الخلايا الحرشفية(OSCC)، و 20 من الأشخاص الأصحاء من كال الجنسين.
Abstract EN
This study aimed to identify the changes in total protein in saliva and sera samples of patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma in comparison to those of healthy controls.
These changes were followed using electrophoresis (PAGE).
Meanwhile, determinations of albumin, globulin and albumin to globulin ratio were carried out on sera samples only.
Two groups were the participants in the present study, 18 patients with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC), and 20 ages and gender matched healthy controls.
