Election in contemporary political systems are used an important means to have access to the presidency or to be among the members of parliament or elected local councils.

The election is considered as a mechanism for political participation which requires the democratic principles by which the people must be the source of authority.

This article deals with the scientific content of the electoral law in Algeria in 2012 high lighting on the role of the independent national commission as well as the judicial committee in charge of the election monitoring supervision.
