Family cohesion protects community members against falling prey to psychological disorders.

The research is intended to explore the correlation between family cohesion and psychological stability of children.

With that end in view, the research raises the question: Are family disorders and family disintegration the only factors which negatively affect society? Research argues that the aforementioned are not the only factors and that unstable society causes family disintegration; research argues that the correlation between family and society is a controversial one.

The evidence for the aforementioned assertion is that the social and cultural life of people affects values, attitudes and standards they adopt within their families: if the society discriminates between various specialties in terms of significance by, for example, providing good job opportunities to specific specialties like medicine and engineering and, marginalizing other specialties like education, the members of the latter profession will feel disappointed.

So, we find that teachers' disappointment is genuinely caused by society's unfair classification of the importance of various professions: no profession is superior to the other; professions complement each other and are equally important.

The research was applied on a selected study sample in UAE and figures showed that family cohesion had an enormous impact on psychological security of family members.
