Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Brain Storming Strategy in Improving Problem Solving Skill to the students in al-Baha University.

The study sample consisted of (44) students divided into two groups: experimental group (22 students) were studied by brain-storming strategy, while the controll group(22 students) were instructed using the traditional strategy during the second semester of the academic year of (1432/ 1433).

The two research tools used in the study were: a problem - solving tool of (40) items, that was implemented before and after the initiation of the study, and instructional plans of the chosen learning unit.

The main findings of the study were that there were statistically significant differences in increasing the problem - solving skill due to the use of the strategy, for the favor of the brain-storming strategy.
