Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the degree of school ^؛nistrators’ practice of decision-making patterns in the Directorate of Education in Qasabat Al-Mafraq in Jordan; and the impact of both gender, qualifications and years of service on the responses of the sample of the study (n.223).

A questionnaire of (40) items has been distributed, divided into four patterns: the firm, the authoritarian, the flexible, and the integrated.

The study showed the following results: The participants’ degree of practicing patterns of decision-making is high.

The study showed no statistically significant differences in the responses of study sample due to the gender variable or the academic qualification.

The findings also indicated the existence of significant differences in the responses of study sample attributed to years of service on the tool and in favor of short service.

The researcher recommended training school administrators on various administrative situations to activate the decision-making patterns to suit those situations.
