Abstract EN

This study aims at defining the reiuctance of high school students on choosing history as a substitute subject matter from students and teachers point ©٢ views in Jeeza and Muaqar Educational Directorates.

The sample of the study were (180) students and (36) teachers.

The researcher, developed a (72-؛tem) questionnaire items, dealt with four main fields: The student, the book, the teacher and the final secondary school examination questions.

The validity and the reliability of the tool were ensured.

The results: 1 - There was a high level of reluctance on of choosing history, due to the questions of secondary school general lamination, from both students and teachers point ©٢ views.

2 - There were no statistical significant ،lifferences, due to the role variable for the fields of the student and the book.

3 - There were statistical significant differences between students, due to the sex variable, in favor of female students.

4 - There were no statistical significant ،lifferences between the teachers, due to the sex variable.

5 - There were no statistical significant differences between the two directorates from students and teachers points ©٢ views.
