Abstract EN

All modem legislation come into criminalizing acts which affect the sovereignty of the State's economiy.

Any country in the world will not be able to refrain from interfering in the economy even if they adopt the principles of economic freedom.

In order to protect the economic interests, it must be drafting the economic laws to provide protection to that policy.

So it is necessary to support these laws with dissuasive sanctions, whether criminal, such as sanctions or non-criminal sanctions such as civil and administrative.

It is known that criminal sanctions are the most important in reducing the economic crimes due to its danger on the State Economy.

Therefore, we find most of the modem legal legislations, including laws related to Jordanian economic activity, works to increase the penalties on the perpetrators of these crimes.
