Abstract EN

This study aimed at evaluating the school performance developing system.

It also aimede at finding whether there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) among respondents.

The sample of this study consisted of (78) schools and a sample of (102) interviewees were selected.

Two instruments were used: a 32-item questionnaire and an interview form.

The questionnaire was divided into eight categories: project objectives, data collection tools, training programs, project implementation plan, pecuniary costs, supervision and follow-up, media coverage and writing of the final evaluation report.

The results indicated that the final report preparation and writing category has the highest mean compared to other categories (4.33).

Regarding whether there are statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) among respondents, the findings revealed differences in one category “supervision and follow-up” which is attributed by the region; regarding the job variable, differences were in favor of educational supervisors and administrators compared to senior teachers.

The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in favor of the holders of intermediate diploma in all categories; except pecuniary cost and supervision and follow-up.

For the school type variable, the results indicated that there were statistical differences in all categories except training programs, and supervision and follow- up.

In addition, the results of school students’ gender variable, showed statistical differences in all categories in favor of female and co-education schools.

According to research results, several recommendations have been introduced.
