The study investigates the phonological problems indicated by Abuobeida in his seminal book 'ALNagaid ' , (contradictions).

The study compares Abuobeida's views with those of his contemporary linguistic scholars based on a logical, scientific classification and analysis .

The study discusses Abuobeida's most significant scientific production in Arabic phonological systems via his observation and comments in the book .

The study presents Abuobida's autobiography and investigation of his work.

The book includes abundant phonological information relating to phonogical rules such as assimilation difference , inflection and succession of vowels and consonants.

The study also found that Abuobeida has given special attention to the study of /a/ sound (Hamza).

The study concludes that Abuobeida's phonological concepts have influenced both ancient and modern linguistics scholars.

The conclusion of the study includes the most important findings, recommendations and a list of references
