Abstract EN

Ustaz Ahmad Maqari Sa’id is one of the famous poetic of Arabic Language, particularly in northern Nigeria and the country as a whole.

However, in spite of the invaluable contribution of his numerous poems towards the development of Arabic Language little has been done to document and analyze the importance these poems through an in depth academic research.

Therefore, this paper aim at analyzing one of the poem composed by Ahmad Maqari Sa’id, as an eulogy to his renowned teacher and scholar Sheikh Ladan Dan-Shuraihu.

The poem contains literacy and prosody as a worthy of historical and description methods.

The paper concludes that the poetic has scientifically observed grammatical and prosody rules in his creativity.

Finally, the paper ends up by creating room for further researches in this field; at the end observations and recommendations were provided.
