Abstract EN

This study sheds the light on Relations between the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman with the United States of America during the eara between world war one and world war two; through documental resources.

This period represented the begging of a transition in the United States international relations and communications with the Arabian Gulf under British dominance and representation of American interests in the Sultanate.

The study concluded that mutual collaboration between the Sultanate and the United States in enhancing communications and commercial horizons, and solving controversial issues and defines cordially.

During Sultan Said Bin Taimor visit to the United States in 1937, a substantial effort was made to enhance these relations, although many British documents mentioned the impact of this visit on the independency of the local and international desibios in the Sultanate, and the change of relations between the sultanate and Britain.
