Temmam HASSAN was known with his knowledge of the Arab linguistic heritage, his efforts focused on transmitting this legacy to the Arabic reader based on recent scientific research methods.
Temmam HASSAN was among the researchers who benefited from scientific scholarships organized by Egypt, which enabled him to be in contact with one of the leading figures of Western schools in modern linguistics "Firth".
Considering the double scientific culture of this scholar, this article proposes to address some linguistic issues in the Arabic language, specifically regarding the Arabic grammar.
We attempt to analyze some of his contributions in order to analyze to what extent they are original studies or are just the translation of Western translation studies.

Temmam Hassan était connu pour sa connaissance approfondie de l'héritage linguistique arabe, il a consacré tous ses efforts en linguistiques à transmettre cet héritage au lecteur arabe d'une façon simplifiée et compréhensible.
Sa maitrise des nouvelles méthodes de recherche scientifique l'a aidé d'autant plus qu'il était le disciple de Firth un des pionniers du contextualisme.
La double culture de Tammam Hassan avait joué un rôle important et ses nombreuses contributions au service de la langue arabe nous ont incité à examiner ses écrits de linguistique arabe moderne et de grammaire afin de savoir s'il s'agit d'études originales ou juste de traductions d' études linguistiques occidentales.
