Arabic Abstract
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بيان الآثار الاقتصادية لحوادث السير فـي الأردن و ذلك باستخدام بيانات سنوية لمتغيرات الدراسة.
و قامت الدراسة باستخدام النموذج البريطاني و النموذج المغربـي لتقـدير التكلفة الاقتصادية الناتجة عن حوادث السير.
و قامت الدراسة في تقدير العلاقة بين المتغيرات و قياس اثر المتغيرات الاقتصادية من خلال نموذج الدراسة.
و قد تم استخدام نموذج التكامل المشترك (Co-integration Test)، و نموذج متجه تصحيح الخطأ (VECM) للوصول إلى ذلك الهدف.
بعد أن تم تطبيق الاختبارات التشخيصية للمتغيرات مثل : اختبار جذر الوحدة، اختبار مكونات التباين، اختبار السببية، اختبار دالة الاستجابة لردة الفعل.
و أظهرت النتائج أن كل من عدد السكان و عدد المركبات العاملة في الأردن يؤثر بشكل إيجابي على الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في الأردن، في حين أن حـوادث السير تؤثر بشكل سلبي و تمثل نزيفا في الموارد التي تتسبب في النهاية بتراجـع الناتج المحلي الإجمالي.
و أهم ما توصى فيه الدراسة ضرورة التعامل مع واقع حوادث السير مـن خلال التحليل العلمي للحوادث، و العمل على تسجيل بيانات و معلومات الحـوادث و الاستفادة من تحليل هذه المعلومات، لحسن اسـتغلال نتائجهـا و تحديـد سـبل المعالجة.
English Abstract
The present study aimed to uncover the underlying economic effects of Traffic accidents in Jordan by using annual data for the study variables.
The study used the British and the Moroccan Models to evaluate the economic expenses resulting from traffic accidents.
This study evaluated the relationship between the variables and measuring the effect of economic variables that represent the study model by using Co-Integration Test model and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) after applying diagnostic tests Like unit root test, contrast components test, causality test, and function response test for reactions .
Results showed that the population number and the working vehicles' number in Jordan affects positively on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Jordan, whereas car accidents effects on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) negatively and causes attrition and thus the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) could be declined.
The study emphasized the importance of dealing with reality of traffic accidents through a scientific analyses of accidents and recording the necessary data and information in relation to accidents.
It also highlighted the role of analyzing these data in exploiting the results and finding solutions.
