Abstract EN

This study aims at investigating the theoretical and applicatory issues of translating the Prophetic Tradition (Hadith), seeking evidences for its rightfulness from the sharia texts, the Hadith books and from the books of other scholars.

The second part of this research investigates the applicatory part of translating the Hadith, based on the Prophet’s applicatory Sunna, the work of the prophet’s followers, and the work of the contemporary scholars who translated the Hadith books to Persian, Turkish and other different languages.

The study has not only proved the legitimacy of translating the Prophetic Tradition but it also clarified its essentiality and necessity.

The study also proved that translation was done during the period of the Prophet and in the eras of his followers, justified by the necessity of translation as a tool of proclaiming message to all human beings.
