Abstract EN

The researcher aimed to reveal the reality of the problem of unemployment in the Palestinian community, its social and psychological causes and consequences, and to identify the role of private and governmental institutions in the Palestinian society to provide solutions to the problem of unemployment among university graduates.

The study examined the following assumptions: there are no differences of statistical significance at the level (a ≥ 0.05) between the social and psychological effects of unemployed university graduates in Palestinian society attributed to the variables of sex, place of residence, type of housing, monthly income of the family, the type of work required familiarity of the graduate with the employment opportunities.

The study used the descriptive methodology as well as the questionnaire as a tool to collect data from the field, and applied on a random sample stratified with a total number of (154) graduates.

The study concluded the following results: 1.

There are some statistically significant differences at the level of a = 0.05.

Therefore, the social and psychological effects on the unemployed university graduates in the Palestinian society are attributed to the variable of sex.

Therefore, the social and psychological impacts on the unemployed university graduates in the Palestinian society are also attributed to the variable of GPA.

Therefore, the social and psychological impacts on the unemployed university graduates in the Palestinian society are also attributed to the variable of place of residence.

Therefore, the social and psychological impacts on the unemployed university graduates in the Palestinian society are also attributed to the variable of type of housing.
