Abstract EN

The research seeks to read the relationship between the imaginary and the alive reference in the novel “AlbabAltaref” [The Last Door] by Abeer Ali.

The purpose of this is to reinforcethepath of novel in dealing with the questions of reality, and to celebrate the place which is represented byAbha.

At the same time, it is to write the current social and cultural questions.

Thus it justifies the research endeavorand reinforces its significance.

It shifts the novel from its direct horizon in which it revolves to a horizon which has more comprehensive and more profound meaning, the horizon of contemporary Arabic novel and its relationship with reality and its various questions.

The research, throughout the semiotic method, sought to reveal denotations of fictional construction elements, and to inquest the hidden dimensions beyond the text as it achieves the objectives of the research and reveals the world of the novel.
