Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the aspects of Euphemism and Taboo in the language of the Holy Quran.

What has been achieved on sociolinguistics has been helpful in this regard.

The study revealed those aspects of Euphemism and Taboo in different domains by examining the holy verses which included Euphemism and Taboo.

The study then concluded that the language of the Holy Quran is similar to the human language in some aspects but different in others.

Similar aspects are represented in the forbidden things such as sex, and women.

However, the different aspects are represented in death and mysterious worlds.

Therefore, the study has added another secret of the wondrous nature of the language of the Holy Quran.
