Abstract EN

An experiment was conducted in a woody lath house by using 6 months old of sour orange ( Citrus aurantium L.) seedlings which grown in plastic pots filled with river soil.

The aim of experiment was study the effects of spraying vegetative canopy with salicylic acid at a concentration of (0, 100 and 200 mg.L-1) concentrations for 4 times with month interval at salinity Irrigation water with three different levels of salinity(1, 2 and 4 ds.m-1 ) for four months, to assess the effects of these treatments and their interactions on seedlings tolerance to salinity, by study the mutations in endogens hormone in leaves (IAA , GA3 , SA , ABA , Put) .

The experimental was carried as factorial using Randomized Complete Block Design ( R.

The means were compared using Least Significant Differences ( L.S.D) at level of probability 0.05.

The results could be summarized as follows, Increasing levels of water salinity to 4 ds.m-1 was significantly increased plant hormone (ABA, Put and SA) whereas, decreasing plants hormone IAA and GA in leaves, and spraying vegetative canopy with salicylic acid at (100 mg.L-1).

The interaction results showed that there were a significant increased in the leaves contain of all endogens hormone
