Resourced from Dair Abi Said Municipal Record This study addresses Dair Abi Said town during the period from (1953-1965) which formed at that date center of Al-Kora district.

The municipal records were principally consulted in this study، as this sort of records is a valuable historical source to study the modern and contemporary history of Jordan as it provides a clear picture of the different social، economic، and administrative aspects of life، composition of population and relations with the local administration.

The present study investigated the historical development of Dair Abi Said، in terms of boundaries، roads، consecutive town councils، decisions they made، functions، budgets and other related themes.

This kind of records is a worthwhile source of historical studies of the modern and contemporary Jordanian history and a fertile field of study.
